BORDERLANDS

BORDERLANDS, Eirik Johnson’s acclaimed debut monograph, navigates unclaimed spaces in search of serendipitous encounters, in awe of the various and temporary relationships that develop where human and environmental forces meet. The book’s spine design allows for each spread to lay perfectly flat, reminiscent of children’s pop up books. There is no page curving or edge flaring to draw the reader’s attention away from the drama and tension of each scene.
